GET ACKNOWLEDGED!
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
CLET Training, led by Dr Kate Martin has been successfully providing our military, police and emergency service personnel recognition of their knowledge and skills achieved on the job towards carefully selected Nationally Recognised Qualifications since 2006.
Recognition is STEP 2 of Kate’s four-step program for a successful transition back to civilian life and employment.
Our Services Include:
Information
The most important thing to support change is access to information. Dr Kate Martin’s research provides you with a roadmap to help you understand the challenges you may face following separation from service.
Kate does not specifically recommend any physical or mental health support services, but reminds you that this is an important part of recovery and should be investigated as much as possible.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
This is part of Step 2 (skills recognition) and Step 4 (re-employment).
Kate is the director of CLET Training (RTO 31254) and offers RPL as a tool to ensure that existing knowledge and skills from service are recognised.
Submit an obligation-free RPL application and have your knowledge, skills and experience formally assessed against Nationally Recognised civilian qualifications that hold the power when looking to redeploy in Step 4.
Study Options
Covering Step 3 (learning), you are provided with the opportunity to learn civilian skills and achieve a qualification not available via RPL.
CLET Training supports some learning options.
Employment Suitability
You are suitable for employment based on your service experience, but may have some barriers related to physical or mental health, also from service.
Kate together with CLET Training (RTO 31254) can support improving employment suitability through Steps 2 and 3.
Employment Preparation
Employers demand different requirements for candidates.
Kate and her team monitor employer demand to ensure that services offered in Steps 2 and 3 support good preparation for employment.
Employment Monitoring
Kate and her team monitors employment of former service personnel to identify key employment areas and to ensure that Steps 2 and 3 are in accordance with employment requirements.
